Petar Andonovski was born in 1987, in Kumanovo, Macedonia.

He has published the following books: Mental Space (poetry, 2008), Eyes the Color of Shoes (novel, 2013, second and third edition 2016), The Body One Has To Live In (novel, 2015, second and third edition 2016), Fear of Barbarians (novel, 2018).

His first novel Eyes the Color of Shoes was short-listed for the Utrinski Vesnik Novel of the Year Award in 2014.

The novel The Body One Should Live In won the Utrinski Vesnik Novel of the Year Award in 2015.

His first novel Eyes the Color of Shoes is translated into Bulgarian language.
